{"id":61,"date":"2024-12-07T11:44:47","date_gmt":"2024-12-07T11:44:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/guysonhire.com\/Kyanosai\/Career\/?post_type=jobpost&#038;p=61"},"modified":"2025-01-17T13:29:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-17T13:29:58","slug":"senior-software-engineer","status":"publish","type":"jobpost","link":"https:\/\/www.kyanosai.com\/Career\/jobs\/senior-software-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Software Engineer (Java)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Job Overview<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Overview: Senior Software Engineer support and help drive the delivery of new and enhanced features for their Product Delivery Team.\u00a0 They have a solid grasp of the platform, our tech stack, and trends within the field of engineering.\u00a0 They know dependencies with underlying systems and can fix issues in the system interfaces.\u00a0 In addition to developing and solving complex tasks, they aide in prioritizing development stories, provide estimates and create subtasks to implement product features within the sprint.\u00a0 They take ownership in production issues that arise and actively work to a timely resolution.\u00a0 They may also be involved with architecture decisions for the development framework and perform code reviews.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Roles and Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, Develop and test product features, enhancements and defect resolution independently.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues across our platform.<\/li>\n<li>Support the team leads from an engineering perspective during sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off to help estimate stories, raise awareness and additional implementation details.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and enhance platform performance tools in production.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead in software architecture discussions and actively contribute to technical discussions.<\/li>\n<li>Help to prioritize development user stories.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and assist other engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates ownership for development across team and other cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead in identifying and resolving production issues.<\/li>\n<li>Perform code reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Help Identify and come up with strategies to resolve technical debt.<\/li>\n<li>Create user stories to resolve production issues, technical debt and opportunities for improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) for backend development and Angular 2+ for frontend development.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding o of Kotlin is necessary, and candidate should be open to work in Kotlin going forward.<br \/>\nAbility to write high-quality code that aligns with recognized security standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Must have Skill Set:<\/h1>\n<h1>Should be Backend Savvy Candidate and decent exposure on frontend.<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Java\/Kotlin (For Backend)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sprint framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC etc)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>SQL, PostGreSQL<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Streaming technology (Kafka)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Microservices Architecture<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Angular with JS<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Micro Front End Architecture for Frontend<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>CSS and HTML<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Good to have:<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kotlin<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Vue JS<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>OAuth, JWT, SAML, and OpenID Connect, authentication and authorization flows in general. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Keycloak experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Docker<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Kubernetes(K8s)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Terraform (basic at least)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>AWS ( or Any cloud basic)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Typical Experience<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of SW development role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Overview &nbsp;
